About That · by Emberkiln

Give every page on your site a voice.

One script tag. Your visitors get an audio player that speaks about that page — a summary, a kid-simple explainer, or a pitch-panel episode in your own cloned voice. Rendered on first listen, cached until the page changes.

Try it on any site — right now, no account.

Point at a website and we'll record a Pitch Panel about it — a founder pitching the site's idea while an investor pushes back. The first 25 sites go in the public gallery below, free.

The whole integration
<script async src="https://www.hivejournal.com/about-that.js"
        data-embed="YOUR-EMBED-ID"></script>

Works on any site that can paste HTML — blogs, docs, landing pages, WordPress, Notion-exported sites.

The short version

A 60-second spoken summary for the visitor who won’t read 2,000 words but will listen while they scroll.

Explain it like I’m 10

The same page, in plain concrete language. Great for docs, technical posts, and anything your mom asks about.

The Pitch Panel

The flagship. Your cloned voice pitches the page’s idea like a founder; a sharp AI investor pushes back — the moat, who pays, what breaks. Your page, as an episode.

How it works

  1. Create an embed: your domains, your voice (cloned or a narrator), your tone.
  2. Paste the snippet. The player appears on every page that carries it.
  3. First listener taps play → we read the page, write the script, and record it. Everyone after that gets it instantly. Edit the page and it re-records on the next listen.

Fine print, honestly: renders only work on pages within your embed's own domains (nobody can farm your player), each embed has a daily render cap you control, and your cloned voice requires the same recorded consent as everywhere else on the platform.

Your pages already say something. Let them say it out loud.
